Sweden's LK Group chooses Zap solution

Business intelligence software to improve cost efficiencies at the global group

Sweden — August 10, 2010 – Established Swedish-based global organization, Lagerstedt & Krantz Group, has chosen Zap's business intelligence software to help manage its 16 international companies. LK Group becomes Zap's first Swedish client, as the global software company expands in Europe.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, LK Group uses Microsoft Dynamics ® NAV as its standard Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, currently used by 130 employees across 16 organizations. Zap Business Intelligence for Microsoft Dynamics NAV will provide the Group a clearer picture of how the individual companies are performing.

The opportunity to achieve cost efficiencies motivated LK Group to choose Zap. The Group plans to use Zap's solution to identify and deal with business issues before they escalate.

LK Group will use Zap Business Intelligence for Microsoft Dynamics NAV to more effectively communicate performance to its board, and analyze production and sales. The Group's six business sectors work within the heating, plumbing, and shipping industries.

LK Group also supports businesses in real estate management and finance. Zap's solution will be used by the Group's board, production, finance, IT, and sales departments.

"We wanted fast access to performance figures, so a speedy implementation was important. A solution that could be used in businesses across the world, including Asia, was also a consideration."

Zap will provide LK Group a faster and easier way to analyze performance, than the existing 260 reports the Group had been using.

Zap creates BI solutions for the Microsoft SQL Server platform that are user friendly and provide capabilities such as reports, analysis, dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and business templates. Zap's solutions support data from many different business systems, and out-of-the-box solutions specifically for Microsoft Dynamics business solutions are also available.
