The combination of Zap and Microsoft® technology offers customers the power of choice and flexibility when it comes to business intelligence. Zap is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with the Independent Software Vendor (ISV), data management, and business intelligence competencies, and creates solutions in .NET that provide web-based analytics built on Microsoft technology.
Zap Business Intelligence provides key business intelligence (BI) capabilities, including dashboards, analysis, reporting, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and scorecards – from any source system. Analytics are viewed via Internet Explorer, with SQL Server® providing the data processing and analysis engine. It operates either as a standalone solution, or integrates with complementary Microsoft technology. For example, analytics can be viewed within Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) or exported to Microsoft Excel. It can provide the web presentation layer for customers needing to reach a remote audience or with other requirements to provide web-based business intelligence. Zap Business Intelligence is sold through Microsoft partners.
Zap provides Business Analytics for Microsoft Dynamics solutions that are expressly designed to provide Microsoft Dynamics® customers with out-of-the-box solutions to meet their analytics needs. These solutions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, NAV and AX go well beyond the standard concept of a BI toolset – they offer a complete solution designed for rapid rollout and return. Dynamics customers that use a combination of products such as CRM and NAV can also gain from using standard and integrated analytics technology across their business solutions. Business Analytics can be viewed within Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) or exported to Microsoft Excel. Business Analytics is created in .NET, reads and presents data in SQL Server Analysis Services databases, uses Microsoft SQL Server to manage its own metadata and can present SQL Server Reporting Services reports inside the Internet Explorer® web interface.
