Location
West Coast US preferred - Based upon Geographic location the work environment will be a combination of telecommuting and working directly with customers/partners at the client site.
Key responsibilities
- Be primary point of interaction between Zap, a Partner's technical staff and the partner's customers for technological enablement.
- Demonstrate the Zap products in a pre-sales capacity.
- Enable partners technically through one on one mentoring, supporting the delivery of solutions into partner customers.
- Apply domain knowledge and product knowledge to assist in the enablement of partner's technically, support proofs-of-concept for sales opportunities and development of partner-led solutions offerings.
- Develop new product knowledge to support partner engagement and readiness.
- Sustain expert-level, user knowledge regarding application of Zap's specific products to partner opportunities; be able to deliver technical demonstrations in support of partner.
- Recommend, develop and implement partner technical solutions as a member of the Zap enablement team.
- Take an active role in technical communications with partners and effectively present concepts to partners.
- Communicate with and develop working relationship with partner designated technical points of contact.
- Concurrently support partner recruitment/marketing, partner readiness and partner retention/sales execution for multiple partners through designated tasks such as: technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept development.
- Support indirect sales opportunities through partners and manage corporate resources necessary to achieve revenue for Zap.
Essential qualifications
- BA/BS Preferred.
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence.
- Ability to lead multiple projects and provide resolutions to complex problems.
- Experience working in a client-facing technical service environment.
- Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
- Strong collaboration, leadership, organization and the ability to work well in teams is required.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Execute tasks and produce results.
- Must be willing to travel (up to 50%).
